Lavender is a gateway herb. A Mediterranean native, beautiful with her lithe, slender stalks and modest purple petals. The cool, mellowing aroma that wafts from her flowers is a friend both to her winged pollinators, and to our keen olfactory desire. We’ve watched her sway for months in the Summer sun, and now we bring her indoors with this handmade herbal sachet.

Made from cotton muslin hand-dyed with pomegranate and iron, each sachet measures 3½ × 3 inches and holds half an ounce by weight of home-grown, organic lavender. The bag closes with waxed hemp drawstring, and is embroidered with cotton floss.
