Calendula & Honey

Honeybees are Nature’s ancient gardeners. Navigating by the Sun’s arc, gathering nectar for their Queen and community, honeybees are practically the extended sexual organs of more than eighty percent of all agricultural flora. Calendula is among these beneficiaries of the bees. For all the centuries we’ve prized her yellow sunburst flowers as a source of medicine, dye and food, we have none to thank but the hardworking honeybees, whose constant work ensures another year of flowering life.
